This Cookie Policy explains the cookies EcoBrightBeam uses on ecobrightbeam.com. Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser so it can remember things between pages, such as that you are signed in.
We only use essential cookies
Every cookie we set is needed for the site to work: to keep you signed in, protect your forms and remember your cart. We do not use analytics, advertising, social-media or other tracking cookies, and we don’t let anyone else place them on our site. Because essential cookies don’t need consent, you won’t see a cookie banner here.
| Cookie | What it does | How long it lasts |
|---|---|---|
ecobrightbeam_session |
Keeps you signed in and remembers what you are doing as you move between pages. | 2 hours after your last visit to a page |
XSRF-TOKEN |
Security: proves forms were sent from our site, which blocks a common type of attack. | 2 hours after your last visit to a page |
buy_cart_token |
Remembers the items in your shopping cart. Only set once you add something to the cart. | 30 days |
remember_web_… |
Keeps you signed in on this device. Only set if you tick “Remember me” when signing in. | Up to about 400 days, or until you sign out |
__cf_bm, cf_clearance |
Set by Cloudflare, our hosting and security provider, only when it needs to check that traffic comes from a real browser and not a bot. | 30 minutes to a few days |
Visitor statistics without cookies
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits and see which pages are popular and how fast they load. It runs a small script from Cloudflare but sets no cookies, doesn’t track you across other websites, and doesn’t build a profile of you, so it needs no consent.
No other outside content
Apart from Cloudflare, which delivers and protects the site, everything our pages need, including images and fonts, is served from our own website, except the Authorize.Net Verified Merchant Seal image, which is loaded from Authorize.Net and sets no cookies. Clicking the seal opens Authorize.Net’s own site, where their policies apply. The Contact form also loads Cloudflare Turnstile, a bot check from Cloudflare, which may set its bot-check cookie (listed above); if it can’t run, we show a retype code instead. We don’t embed content from social networks, ad networks or other companies. See our Privacy Policy for more.
Controlling cookies
You can block or delete cookies in your browser’s settings. Because our cookies are essential, blocking them will stop sign-in, forms and carts from working.
Changes
If we ever add cookies that aren’t essential, such as analytics, we will update this policy first and ask for your permission before setting them.
